Bringing actors with disabilities and those who are able-bodied to your school or organization is much more more than simply a theater performance.
In addition to providing quality entertainment, Dionysus Theatre teaches life lessons, giving children with disabilities the opportunity to see themselves reflected on stage in a positive manner, a positive self-image and a chance to dream of entering the world of theater. For children who are able-bodied, they see first-hand that inclusion is a natural process of life.

True Confessions of a Bully(30 minute performance with a 10-15 minute talk back) Written by Deborah Nowinski This is a play with a story about a student named Nina who is brand new to her Middle School. Nina, along with her down syndrome brother, Jack, become a victim of bullying in the school cafeteria, thanks to Brandon, Hector, and Janine. The principal discovers what happens, and handles the situation by talking to everyone involved. This story teaches our audiences why it is wrong to bully, and what they, as well as teachers and parents can do, to prevent it.
